'Priest Day' – 2 August
Today we're celebrating Priest Day, a chance to reflect on the important role that priests, vicars, ministers and nuns have played in many people's lives and communities. Whether through baptisms, weddings, funerals, school, village life or Sunday services, they have often been part of our happiest, and sometimes our saddest, memories.
Today's activities are designed to encourage conversation, reminiscence and gentle brain exercise. We'll discover some interesting facts, share memories, test our knowledge with quizzes and enjoy some much-loved songs.

While many people have happy memories, others may have had difficult or upsetting experiences. Everyone's memories and feelings should be respected, and no one should feel under any pressure to share personal experiences.
