🌎 Welcome To My World Environment Day Activity


Today we are celebrating World Environment Day, which takes place every year on 5 June. It is one of the world's largest environmental awareness events and encourages us to appreciate, protect and care for the planet we all share.


The Earth provides us with everything we need to live – clean air to breathe, fresh water to drink, food to eat, beautiful landscapes to enjoy and an amazing variety of wildlife. Whether it is a favourite garden, a walk in the countryside, a memorable holiday by the sea or simply listening to birdsong, nature enriches our lives in countless ways.


In today's session we will explore some fascinating facts about our planet, discover the wonders of the natural world, learn about remarkable places, animals and environments, share our memories and experiences, and discuss simple ways we can all help make the world a better place.


Along the way we will visit mountains, oceans, rivers and deserts, meet some extraordinary animals, and reflect on the sights, sounds, smells and feelings that make our world such a special place.


Most importantly, we will celebrate the beauty and wonder of Planet Earth and the many gifts that nature gives us every day.
