☘️ St Patrick’s Day – March 17

St Patrick’s Day celebrates the patron saint of Ireland and Irish culture around the world. What began as a religious feast day has become a global celebration of Irish music, storytelling, food, and community. Cities light landmarks green, rivers are dyed emerald, and people everywhere enjoy traditional songs, parades, and plenty of Irish cheer. Whether you’re in Dublin, Chicago, or your local pub, it’s a day to celebrate the spirit of Ireland.

🎵 CST Song Of The Day – “Molly Malone” by The Dubliners

Today’s song is the classic Dublin ballad “Molly Malone,” performed by The Dubliners. The song tells the story of a fishmonger who sold “cockles and mussels, alive, alive-oh” through the streets of Dublin. With its memorable chorus and strong Irish folk roots, it has become one of the best-known traditional songs associated with Ireland and Dublin itself.

So raise a glass, sing along, and enjoy a little Irish music this St Patrick’s Day. Sláinte! ☘️🎶
